Smart manage the organizational data changes in Maximo using DCM ! In this recorded demo session, we are demonstrating how DCM can reduce the operational costs and human errors for common data loading in a user friendly manner and without technical expertise. This part covers a common scenario of adding new items and inventory balance update

This is part of a series that will demo DCM product features.

In this demo, we are simulating the built-in workflow package with the execution of a DCM package/scenario for catalog renaming, addition, modification, enrichment and assignment to a specific storeroom location with appropriate balances and costs. The following tasks have been executed:

1. Item/Catalog code renaming
2. Item/Catalog addition and status change at the organizational level
3. Item/Catalog enrichment or specification updates
4. Item/Catalog assignment to an existing storeroom location
5. Item/Catalog update of costs and balance in an existing storeroom location
6. Demo of DCM workflow assignments:
   1. End-user creation of DCM request & request for approval
   2. End-user start center portlet showing DCM requests pending for approval and active requests
   3. Admin user start center portlet showing DCM requests pending for submission/execution
