Data Change Management – Location Restructure – Part 3

Smart manage the organizational data changes in Maximo using DCM ! In this recorded demo session, we are demonstrating how DCM can reduce the operational costs and human errors for common data loading in a user friendly manner and without technical expertise. This part covers a common scenario of location data restructure.

This is part of a series that will demo DCM product features.

In this demo, we are simulating another common scenario of location restructure by executing the following tasks in the right sequence using one of the DCM templates:

1. Location renaming/key modification
2. Adding new locations
3. Update location specifications
4. Decommission existing locations
5. Moving locations within the location hierarchy

Note that we had to split the tasks in two requests: The first four tasks into one request and the last task into another. That is because of an IBM Maximo bug that has been previously posted on our website here.
